Burn data to DVD. This is the best way to help meet various governmental requirements.

• Use archival quality DVD media. Taiyo Yuden is the only medial we recommend.
• Burn at 1/2 the media rated speed, to ensure a good burn.
• Verify the media after burning.
• Make at least three copies of data to be archived.
• Store in three separate (secure) places. If media is regulated, you may want to encrypt it. Do not loose the encryption keys!
• Check the integrity of your data on a regular basis.
• Shred or microwave disks to be destroyed. Be sure to log destruction information for your records.
