Time to plug Hillsboro CERT. (Community Emergency Response Team) This is a Department of Homeland Security funded program to train civilians to be 1st responders.

1st batch of training is an 8 week course of the fundamentals. After that there is monthly training on topics ranging from structural integrity, to hazmat to disaster financing.
